Ninh Binh – Viet Nam’s ancient royal capital, with most of its buildings credited to King Le Dai Hanh of the tenth century dynasty - is now home to Emeralda Ninh Binh.

Room reservation should be made through Local Secretariat to get special rates and benefits. Due to peak season of tourism and business in Ninh Binh in September, the number of accommodation at Emeralda Resort is limited. To ensure that your accommodation requests are met, the hotel reservation should reach the Local Secretariat no later than 1 September, 2015. The hotel arrangements will be made on first-come, first-served basis. Booking after deadline is subject to hotel room type availability.
Local Secretariat may not be able to guarantee hotel reservation and prices after the due date.
Confirmation notices will be sent to participants for the Hotel booking reservation.
Hotel Reservation Cancellation policy:
+ Cancellation/Amendment on and after 8 September 2015 will be charged at one night room charge.
+ No Show or Stay shortening on Arrival date is subject to 100% of total stay room charge.
3. Immigration (Visa) Requirements
Most visitors to Viet Nam need a visa to enter the country. Visas are exempted for the citizens of the countries, which have signed a bilateral visa exemption agreement with Viet Nam, tourist visa may be valid for 15 to 30 days.
Business visa usually will require an official letter of invitation from a local organization.
Tourist visa can only be obtained in Vietnamese embassies, consulates abroad. For information on entry visas to Viet Nam, participants are kindly requested to contact the Viet Nam's Diplomatic/Mission in their country before traveling. The host country will issue an invitation letter for the visa application of participant based on receiving the request of participant
It is easier to get your visa from a travel agency. The necessary information to the travel agency includes:
• Full name;
• Date of birth and place of birth;
• Nationality;
• Occupation;
• Number of your passport;
• Entry and exit dates;
• Country you plan to receive your entry visa from the Vietnamese embassies or consulates;
Visa extension: This service is available at all travel agencies.

4. Currency
The legal tender of Viet Nam is Dong (VND). For money changing, banks and money changes are conveniently located over the city and at the airport, as well as at the hotels. One US$ is approximately equal to Dong 22,200. Major Banks are open from 9 a.m. to 3.30 p.m., Monday to Friday. All main credit cards are welcome, such as VISA, MASTER, AMEX.
5. Transportation from Airport
It will take about 2 hour drive from Noi Bai Airport to Ninh Binh city. The host country will arrange pick-up from/to airport for all delegates. To assist the arrangements, delegates are requested to inform the local Secretariat on their flight itineraries as indicated in the Registration Form.
6. Weather
The time convening the workshop is in autumn in Viet Nam. During September, the average temperature varies from 25 to 30 degree Celsius.
7. Food
A wide range of choices in the food/diet from Asian style to Western style is available in hotel restaurants, food-courts. The local cuisine is excellent for different tastes.

10. Language
The official language is Vietnamese, but most people in the central area of the City can use English.
